IEEE Women in Engineering Social Innovation Camp

About Event

IEEE WIE Social Innovation Camp is the motivation from IEEE Women in Engineering Student-Teacher and Research Engineer/Scientist (STAR) to motivate Pre-University students, especially girls to step into technical fields.

This event is organized to motivate and give awareness about “Social Innovation” and “Pre-University Education” among Pre-University Students (Grade 10-12th), Teachers/Educators & IEEE Volunteers.

Objectives

Engagement of all the IEEE WIE AGs, IEEE EA Chapters and overall IEEE Volunteers from Region 10 (APAC) and connecting the motive of the camp with other Regional WIE for international participation.

Enrichment of Pre-University Students in STEAM Subjects via Social Innovation/Design thinking approach.

Engagement of PreU Students' Parents/Teachers for full-fledged awareness of Industrial knowledge required for their children at an early stage.

Bringing STEAM as the most important pillar for PreU growth in a sustainable long-term perspective.
